Mandir Limited

Established in 2017 for the specific purpose of creating the BAPS Hindu Mandir at Abu Dhabi, Mandir Limited is a non-profit company working under the guidance of the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha to bring this project to fruition. Mandir Limited is authorised by the Government of Abu Dhabi and its relevant ministries to construct, develop and manage the Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi.

Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (also known as the ‘BAPS’) is a worldwide community-based social and spiritual organization. Recognized and appreciated internationally for its humanitarian services and commitment to holistic social uplift, BAPS is affiliated with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. Today, under the spiritual and administrative leadership of His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj, BAPS serves millions around the world through its 1200 mandirs, 3850 centers and 55,000 volunteers. His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj

The fifth spiritual successor of Bhagwan Swaminarayan, His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj was the inspiration behind the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi. Driven by love for God, and with his genuine care and compassion, he is remembered as one of Hinduism’s great spiritual teachers – a “people’s guru” who reached out to all, irrespective of social barriers. His universal message – “in the joy of others lies our own” – inspired millions to a life of service and devotion. After passing away on 13 August 2016, Pramukh Swami Maharaj was succeeded by His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj. Learn more >

The sixth and present spiritual guru of the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, His Holiness Mahant Swami Maharaj is respected as one of the foremost leaders of Hinduism today. His outstanding virtues of austerity, self-control, devotion, humility and service earned him the blessings of Pramukh Swami Maharaj.
